To change your recovery tank filter (164-8017F) remove all of the allen bolts securing the access door on top. Put these in a safe place so they won't get lost. 

Remove the gasket (158-0405) and the filter assembly (164-8017F) and discard. This is a good time to flush the tank out. 

Put the new filter into place and set the new gasket in place as well. There is no need for silicon here. Place the access door back on top and fasten down using the allen bolts.
